Fun for all ages and Digital Cameras to be won!

Maths Eyes Poster Competition Conditions and Details

Create a Maths Eyes Poster by taking a photograph and adding a tag line that will encourage those looking at the poster to use their Maths Eyes.

Posters can be submitted under one of the following categories:·

  • 7 years or under ( on the 31st  August 2012)
  • 11 years or under ( on the 31st  August 2012)
  • 14 years or under ( on the 31st  August 2012)
  • 18 years or under ( on the 31st  August 2012)
  • Adult Education ( Open to all those currently participating in an adult education course)
  • Family/Community Group (collaboration between family members or collaboration between members of a community group)

 

  • Winners in each category will win a digital camera!
  • The competition is open to everyone.
  • People can enter as often as they want.

Important Dates

  • Closing date for all entries in 5pm Friday on Friday 26th October 2012.
  • The shortlist entries will be announced on Friday 16th November 2012 at 5pm
  • (The list of shortlisted entries will be available on Maths Week Ireland & HaveYouGotMathsEyes).
  • Those shortlisted must email their high resolution file when requested (Poster Competition Only).
  • This will enable the poster to be printed for the exhibition. All those that are shortlisted will be invited to a celebration where all entries will be exhibited and the winners in each category will be announced. (Early December, To Be Confirmed)

Winners in each category will win a digital camera!

All shortlisted entries will be part of a real world exhibition which will tour venues on the Island of Ireland during the early part of 2013.

Please note that by entering this competition you agree that your poster can remain on the websites to be used by Maths Eyes and Maths Week Ireland and be available as a resource for others to use.
