These videos are the result of collaboration between a distinguished mathematician, Etienne Ghys, Director of Research at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon, and computer graphics artist, Jos Leys. They trace dynamical systems from their origins to the ‘butterfly effect’ and on to the recent work of research mathematicians.
