Open Up your Maths Eyes
In this lecture the audience will discover that there is maths in the world around them, that without realising it they use maths all of the time and are probably much better at maths than they realise. To this the audience will be helped to open their Maths Eyes. The lecture will also explore how to use the free software GeoGebra to explore mathematics in the real world, for example by taking a photo , then inserting the photo into a GeoGebra file and then using its powerful tools to highlight the mathematics you see in it
